Speedtorc, the TorsionX Sur America distributor in Brasil introduced TorsionX tools to an enthusiastic crowd at the Brasil Offshore Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference in Macaé Centro in late June. Brasil Offshore is the third largest oil and gas expo in the world. It is held every two years and saw more than 51,000 visitors in 2013. Macaé is the operational base for more than 80% of offshore exploration in Brazil. The event is well established in the market and has been running for 10 years. It is jointly organized and promoted by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, IBP (the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas) and SPE (the Society of Petroleum Engineers).

Speedtorc, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, specializes in bolting and has operated in the domestic market for about a decade, serving companies from different segments: oil industry (onshore and offshore), oil and gas refineries, chemical and petrochemical, steel, metallurgy, pulp and paper, hydroelectric plants, nuclear power plant, food industry, shipbuilding (shipyards), cement industry, among other sectors.
